Using Foveus
These terms govern your use of the Foveus website, dashboard, SDK, APIs, documentation, and private beta services. By using Foveus, you agree to these terms. If you are using Foveus for a company or team, you are agreeing on behalf of that organization and confirming that you have authority to do so.
Foveus is an execution intelligence product for backend teams and is still in private beta, so features, workflows, and service limits may change often.
Private beta expectations
- Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
- Telemetry, search results, issue grouping, and dashboards may be incomplete or inaccurate.
- Downtime can happen, and support is best effort unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Foveus should not be your only system of record for compliance, audit, legal, or mission-critical operations.
Accounts, workspace access, and security
Private beta access is invite-only. We may approve, suspend, or revoke access where needed for legal, security, abuse, or operational reasons.
You are responsible for your login credentials, API keys, workspace membership, integration access, and all activity that happens under your account. If you believe an account or key is compromised, you must notify us promptly.
SDK and API rules
You may use the SDK, APIs, and documentation only to connect your systems to Foveus and operate your use of the service.
- Do not overload, disrupt, or bypass limits or security controls.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access to Foveus systems or another customer’s data.
- Do not use Foveus to transmit malware, harmful code, illegal content, or data you are not allowed to share.
- Do not reverse engineer non-open-source parts of Foveus or use the service to train or build a competing product without permission.
Customer data and sensitive data
You keep ownership of the telemetry, logs, metadata, and other customer data you send to Foveus. You give us the limited rights we need to host, process, analyze, store, display, secure, and support that data in order to operate the service.
You are responsible for making sure you have the required notices, permissions, and lawful basis to send that data to Foveus.
Unless we explicitly agree in writing, do not intentionally send passwords, secrets, access tokens, private keys, payment data, government identity numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive personal data.
Retention, pricing, and changes
Private beta telemetry is usually kept for a short period and may be deleted according to retention settings, infrastructure limits, legal needs, or product changes. Deletion requests can be made by contacting us, but some data may remain in backups or security logs for a limited time.
Beta access may be free, discounted, or covered by a separate written arrangement. That does not guarantee free access forever, and we may introduce pricing or usage limits later.
We may change or discontinue features, SDK behavior, APIs, pricing, or access rules as Foveus evolves.
Intellectual property, feedback, and confidentiality
Foveus owns the platform, dashboard, SDKs, APIs, designs, documentation, workflows, and related intellectual property. These terms give you a limited right to use the service, not ownership of it.
If you send feedback, suggestions, or feature requests, we may use them without restriction or compensation.
Because this is a private beta, you may see non-public features, screenshots, roadmaps, or technical details. Please do not publicly share confidential Foveus information without written permission.
Disclaimers, liability, and governing law
Foveus is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties about availability, accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, and error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Foveus is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or production downtime caused by your systems, configuration, or use of the service.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes will generally be resolved in Lagos, Nigeria unless applicable law requires otherwise.
