What this policy covers
This policy applies to the Foveus website, dashboard, SDK, APIs, support workflows, and private beta product experience. It explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices customers and users have.
Foveus is still in private beta, so product features, retention windows, and data controls may evolve as we improve the service.
Information we collect
- Account and workspace details such as name, email address, organization name, user roles, and onboarding settings.
- Execution telemetry such as execution IDs, traces, service names, endpoints, timestamps, durations, status codes, logs, stack traces, and issue grouping metadata.
- Support and communication records such as messages, onboarding notes, feedback, and troubleshooting context you share with us.
- Basic website and device information such as IP address, browser type, session activity, and approximate location derived from IP address.
Foveus is not built to intentionally collect passwords, private keys, access tokens, payment data, health records, or other highly sensitive personal data. Customers should avoid sending that information through logs, headers, payloads, or custom context fields.
How we collect information
We collect information when you create an account, join a workspace, install or configure the SDK, send telemetry to Foveus, use the dashboard, visit our site, or contact us for onboarding or support.
How we use information
- Operate the product and show execution timelines, logs, issues, and debugging context.
- Support onboarding, customer success, and product communications.
- Monitor reliability, investigate misuse, and protect the platform.
- Improve Foveus during private beta and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell customer telemetry data or use it to advertise to end users.
Customer responsibility and data minimization
Customers control what their applications send to Foveus. That means customers are responsible for making sure they have the right to send that data and that their use of Foveus matches their own privacy, security, and contractual obligations.
To reduce unnecessary exposure, Foveus may apply payload limits, truncation, redaction support, denylist filtering, quotas, and short retention windows. Those controls help, but they do not replace careful SDK and logging configuration.
Retention and deletion
During private beta, execution telemetry is generally retained for a short period and is currently expected to be available for about 2 days unless a different period is configured or needed for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Account, workspace, billing, onboarding, and support records may be kept longer where necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain business records, or comply with law.
You can request deletion or privacy support at hello@foveus.dev.
Sharing and international processing
We may share information with trusted providers that help us run Foveus, such as hosting, database, email, infrastructure, analytics, and support vendors. We may also disclose information where required by law or where needed to protect Foveus, our customers, or others.
Foveus and its providers may process data outside the country where you are located. Where required, we use reasonable safeguards for that processing.
Privacy requests and updates
Privacy questions, access requests, and deletion requests can be sent to hello@foveus.dev.
We may update this policy as the product matures. If we make a material change, we will update this page and may provide notice through the website, dashboard, or email.
